Cutter.js is a standalone JavaScript plugin for truncating text (view more…).
Cutter.js optionally generates a ‘view full content’ link, and is an immensely useful plugin for any news website, as it allows for more flexibility when designing and doesn’t limit your articles in terms of word count.
The plugin is lightweight (1.5kb gzipped) and the markup is extremely easy.
