Lettering.js is a jQuery plugin which allows controlling individual letters with CSS, and much more.
First of all, the plugin allows controlling individual letters the easy way: it’s faster, preserves markup, and allows substituting the title with ease.
Secondly, you can use Lettering.js to split sentences into words, and then mark them up via CSS.
And lastly, you can also control the distance between letters quite easily.
Lettering.js also allows fallbacks for users with Javascript disabled.
