Captchagen is a Node library that generates captcha images, and audio through eSpeak.
The captcha is generated with a custom algorithm; you can specify the character count.
Captchagen is a neat and easy to implement alternative to other captchas out there, well, likely not reCAPTCHA, but the latter cannot be used for every app out there.
