Prism.js is an impressively powerful code highlighting tool which weighs 1.5+0.5kb for each language.
Prism.js is simple to use, effective, and extensible. All styling is done with CSS. Prism also detects nested languages like CSS and JavaScript inside HTML.
Overall, prism.js is a very well-made plugin which assumes nothing — and that’s good, as code highlighting probably is an area where matters of taste are involved.
