Okapi is a cool concept library that creatively uses Flash’s symbol/instance model together with HTML5′s <canvas> tag.
The Ok Api library offers a clever way to introduce Flash’s native functions into JavaScript and HTML.
There’s a contest out that gives awards to those who can create the most intriguing piece of art — let us stay true to ourselves, pop art, — using this library.
The Okapi library is an awesome example of what can be accomplished with JavaScript, but is quite simple; Okapi will probably become more of a designer toy than a powerful graphics engine.
