Treesaver.js is a JavaScript framework for create magazine-style layouts with HTML and CSS (and without paper).
Treesaver supports most major browsers, and has specific features for making layouts stunning on certain browsers (e.g. Chrome).
Although the development of this project is still in progress, treesaver can provide a functional alternative for making complex layouts that have to look great on most browsers.
You wouldn’t use treesaver for hard-copy magazines, but the framework is nice for running internet magazines, and for projects that require complex layouts.
