Although the idea of a “floating menu” goes hand in hand with corrupted usability, such a menu can be handy once in a while.
That’s why manos.malihu.gr has published the “cursor following menu” plugin for jQuery.
Of course, the plugin wouldn’t be a plugin without options, would it?
You can adjust the space between the cursor and the menu; adjust the speed with easing variables; and adjust the “sleep” period in which the menu follows the cursor after it has been moved.
