MDMagick is a jQuery plugin for turning a textarea into a MarkDown WYSIWYH editor.
It’s easy to implement and produces great results; you can use it for CMS’s both for content and comments, etc.
Incidentally, the plugin provides a way of automatically turning all elements with a “mdm-input” class into WYSIWYG editors. Neat.
