ownCloud is a new web application that takes “cloud” storing to a new, personal level.
As you host ownCloud on your own server, there’s no fuss about who really owns your data — because it’s you.
ownCloud has a user-friendly GUI that enables listening to music from the web, managing files, contacts, and more.
ownCloud can be hosted on a local machine as long as a server with PHP and MySQL is operational.
If the current features of ownCloud haven’t sold you yet, there’s a steadily growing list of future features that will be implemented.
