Noisy is a straightforward little jQuery plugin that adds noise to any given element.
Noisy is very easy to use.
You can apply the following options: amount of noise; set background color; tile size; fallback image (if canvas isn’t supported); and monochromatic on/off.
Such small plugins are quite a virtue actually, because everyone seems to be writing plugins with hundreds upon hundreds of features, but that usually makes the plugin end up scattered and not useful.
