HTML5 has impressive drag and drop capability, used in web apps such as Gmail, Netflix, and file uploading services.
HTML5 Sortable is a plugin that uses drag&drop for creating sortable lists.
Among other features, HTML5 Sortable sports disabled item support and connected list support.
Where to implement this plugin? Well, anywhere you like — it’s great for user-generated lists and apps similar to to-do lists.
Sortable works on IE5.5+, which is rather impressive; at least I had no idea DnD was supported by IE 5.5.
