www.csstricks.com have published a nice article on how to make “knockout” letters with CSS.
Besides being an extraordinary HTML5 demonstration, this trick actually looks great.
What’s great about this article is that Chris Coyier analyses his own thinking patterns and you can basically see how you could efficiently code something alike it.
The final product uses lettering.js to wrap individual letters in spans, plus some JavaScript and CSS to achieve the animations.
