The folks at qooxdoo.org have released another version of their fine JS framework – Qooxdoo (pronounced [’ku:ksdu:]).
Qooxdoo’s newest version, 1.2, contains numerous bugfixes and additions, but the 1.1.1 version is for those who want to simply upgrade their 1.1 version.
The features of this framework include:
- A powerful GUI
- Pure JavaScript (no HTML, no CSS, no DOM knowledge needed)
- Built-in internationalization with *.po files
- and more
You might want to use this framework if you are missing functions in jQuery, as switching from one to another is quite easy. However, developers who specialize in developing Rich Internet Applications.
