Thank you for the very nice collection. Are these themes supposed to be free? I might test a few in the list and use it on my small business site.
One plugin I’ve been using a lot for development lately is called PHPurchase. I tried a lot of the other carts, but the fact that they have this entire internal database of products kind of put me off. Especially since my client wanted to associate things with purchases that weren’t necessarily just products.
The coolest thing I think about PHPurchase is that I can make anything purchasable and just by using the built-in TinyMCE menu that came with it. It just lowers the headaches when dealing with product creation, etc. It’s a pretty good plugin, albeit not free. A simple google search’ll get you to their site.
Thanks for the tip, will feature it in the article.
Any recommendation on a WP E-Commerce Theme or Plug-In that provides a product configuration wizard for the shopper? In other words, let’s say a customer needed a configured product like business cards. The wizard (probably in JQuery or something) would be presented with a multi-step wizard to select type of card stock, enter name & address for printing, select quantity, etc. The output of the wizard would be a configured product added to the shopping cart.
I will come back again because this blog is very good for me
I’m looking to sell credits like istockphoto.com site – then clients can spend credits on site …Please let me know if you have a solution for this.
