BLOKK is a mock-up font for clients who don’t understand Latin.
BLOKK comes in .ttf & web font versions, which makes it both easy to implement and gives a good idea of what actual content would look like.
Best thing is you can scale the font indefinitely so you can use BLOKK for different devices without a second thought.
MFG Labs is an icon set of some 100 Retina-ready icons .
MFG Labs icons are fully scalable, regularly updated and succinctly named. They’re pretty easy to use, and, once you get into hang of it, even the nomenclature is easy to approach.
PixelGlyph is a set of 200 icons for mobile and web applications.
There is a paid version of the icon set, but the free version comes with limitations that honestly aren’t that bad:
Basically, this is a pretty useful icon set for mobile as well as regular web apps.
CSS Browser Selector+ is a small library that allows writing browser-specific code.
The script enhances the efficacy of using CSS selectors. The idea is that you can thus abstain from the use of hacks and use code that complies with most browsers.
The Browser Selector+, in addition to detecting the users browser, detects the language, platform and the device of the user.
Game-icons.net is a website with over 950 icons for games (and the icon set is being updated regularly).
The icons come in .SVG and .PNG formats and include everything from character icons to item icons to task icons.
The icons are impeccably tagged so you don’t have to dig through the whole collection in order to find the icons you require; furthermore, as mentioned the icon sets are updated according to requests (the last update was on December 22nd).
34 Responsive Grid System is a grid system based on equally-distributed columns.
This grid setup has some advantages, and one is, I think, easier media implementation. From the docs the grid system looks hacky, but it’s probably because the author actually put thought into writing them.
Especially helpful are the author’s notes about implementing widgets, with which we in all likelihood have a love-hate relationship.
