LeanBack player is a cool HTML5 video player written in JavaScript.

Unlike most plug-ins released nowadays, the LeanBack Player doesn’t have any dependencies.

Furthermore, you can add subtitles, which is a good reason to choose this player altogether.

The player supports multiple languages, and can be styled via CSS. Like most HTML5 video players, LeanBack falls back to flash in case of emergency.

What’s really nice, though, is that LeanBack supports most platforms – though by fallbacks -, including iOS; Android; and most modern web browsers.

YoutubePlayer is a nice video player for jQuery.

What makes this plugin different is that it supports playlists like in the image.

It automatically retrieves the playlist from target videos via PHP remote calls. You have to manually create the playlist if PHP isn’t supported.

YoutubePlayer allows for neat customization. As it requires Flash, the plugin is cross browser compatible.

It’s great for music enthusiasts (see the website), and for video artists, too.

SpeakerText is a pretty awesome service, which allows you to easily transcript videos, making quotes from the video appear in Google’s results.

It costs $19.99 a month and comes with a 21 day free trial. There, we said it – SpeakerText isn’t free.

However, the price tag doesn’t denounce SpeakerText in any way — we don’t like the price, but the idea is cool, to say the least.

This service is particularly useful for anyone involved with video publishing.

It allows for seamless WordPress integration, support for other systems is still on its way.

FlareVideo is a jQuery plugin with a fallback to flash.

FlareVideo is easy to use, and can be included into your prefered CMS or static page.

It also has nifty features: autoplay, autobuffer, preload, and static poster image to name a few.

The plugin is straightforward, and can be styled to your likings.

However, do note that it only supports MP4 and FLV (plus OGG for FireFox) file formats.
